AIA Toledo’s Honor Awards celebrate emerging professionals and architects that have contributed significantly to the profession of architecture. Each year, the Honor Awards publicly recognize outstanding achievements in Design Excellence, Leadership in Practice, Leadership in Education, and Service to the Community/Profession.

On April 30, 2025, AIA Toledo was proudly represented by Erin Curley, AIA (AIA Ohio Director); Jake Miley, AIA (AIA Toledo President); Arsenio Rodrigues, AIA; and Bob Siebenaller, AIA, during a visit to the Ohio State House.

Toledo City Council welcomed student winners of the 75th Annual AIA Toledo High School Design Competition (HSDC) to One Government Center for a resolution-in-attendance celebrating their achievements.

Thanks to AIA National, AIA Toledo was awarded a 2024 Matching Scholarship Grant which will allow us to increase our HSDC Scholarship & prizes.

The 75th Annual AIA Toledo High School Design Competition (HSDC) Awards Ceremony was held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at Handmade Toledo, during AIA Architecture Week. The HSDC Committee was thrilled to receive 68 submissions from 18 participating schools.

AIA Toledo is excited to announce the opening of applications for three Travel Grants—providing funding for members to participate in professional conferences, seminars, or focused research opportunities.

The Department of Architecture and Environmental Design at BGSU will once again host Rendering Day for participating HSDC students.
