Join AIA Toledo’s Emerging Professionals for a hard-hat construction tour of the 1,800-seat auditorium expansion at Calvary Church in Maumee.
This transformative project includes 30,000 square feet of new construction and 30,000 square feet of renovation, featuring a significantly expanded lobby, two levels of new classroom space, technology and production areas, new primary restrooms, and a reimagined main auditorium.
The evening will begin with a presentation by mADE Architects & Engineers, highlighting the analysis and design strategies behind the adaptive reuse of the former 18-screen movie theater. Topics will include Design + Build delivery, precast concrete wall panels, advanced AVL technology, and the integration of social stairs as key architectural and experiential elements. We'll continue the conversation afterwards at restaurant/bar that's to be determined.
