Bowling Green City Schools’ Vision for a New High School

Discover how nearly a decade of intentional planning, community engagement, and data driven decision making shaped a transformational new high school for BGCS.

Architect Dusty Lake, AIA, ALEP with DLR Group will trace the project’s evolution from early facilities conversations through design and construction, highlighting how trust, transparency, and districtwide thinking informed every major decision. We’ll explore how deep stakeholder involvement directly influenced site strategy, spatial organization, safety planning, and learning environments.

Arrive early for an optional guided tour of BGSU’s new Technology Engineering Innovation Center, led by BGSU students. Interested guests should meet in Kokosing Hall at 5:00 p.m for the tour.
