Join us on April 30, in Columbus, for AIA Ohio's Advocacy Day—a powerful opportunity to engage with legislators on the issues that matter most to you, your firm, and the future of architecture.
Attendees will hear a panel discussion of legislators talking about housing, learn from AIA's Senior Director of State and Local Affairs, Amal Mahrouki, and gain insight from WVXU's Senior Political Analyst, Howard Wilkinson. In the afternoon, attendees will participate in meaningful meetings with legislators discussing issues that are vitally important to the profession. Together in small groups, members will meet with key legislators in both the House and Senate to outline AIA Ohio’s position on several issues that have been identified as key to the advancement of the profession. A debriefing reception has been found to be incredibly helpful for AIA Ohio follow up and action items.
Advocacy Day is free to attend for any AIA Ohio member. Nervous to do it alone? Bring a friend! All members are encouraged to participate. Registration will close on Friday, April 18, so don't delay!
