About Us
AIA Toledo is a chapter of the American Institute of Architects, the national professional organization serving architects in the United States. As the largest design organization in the world, AIA is working to transform the day-to-day practice of architecture to achieve a zero-carbon, resilient, healthy, just, equitable built environment, for everyone.
Founded in 1914, AIA Toledo serves a 19-county area in Northwest Ohio, from Sylvania to Lima and Bryan to Sandusky. With over 160 Architect, Associate, and Emeritus members, along with its Allied Partners, AIA Toledo advocates for the value of architecture, supports students and early professionals, and provides education opportunities for its members and the public.
Our Board of Directors
Serving on the AIA Toledo Board is a great opportunity for members who are looking to expand their professional networks and build leadership experience. All AIA Toledo members are eligible to serve on the Board. Members are invited to nominate themselves or others for any open positions.
Nominations open in late summer and elections are held at our Annual Meeting each December. If you are interested in serving on the board, please contact us.
